Roger specializes in consulting on category management strategy, marketing strategy and shopper research.
Roger has worked in consulting for 6 years in his own business, Real World Marketing in the UK with clients including Nestle, RHM, Northern Foods, Marks and Spencer and Campbells.
Since moving to Australia in 2003, Roger has undertaken Industry wide studies into Category Management, Innovation and has conducted ground breaking research into shoppers perception of retailers own label.
Before moving into consultancy Roger learned his trade as a brand manager in Unilever before becoming a marketing manager for both United Biscuits and subsequently Kraft Foods. At Kraft he was a senior account manager for grocery multiples and was involved in the initial development of category management in the UK. He then became a business unit head for Princes Foods.
Roger has a BSc in Chemistry from Southampton University, UK, an MBA from the Open Business School and is a member of both the MRS and the Chartered Institute of Marketing.
