Our organisational improvement practice works with clients to help deliver desired changes through their people, often the critical factors in driving improvement. Often starting with customer feedback we work with sales, category management and marketing personnel to support the organisational development goals you have set. We provide traditional training courses and workshops but as often work with clients to develop a wider change programme encompassing development of more effective work processes, job descriptions and competency frameworks, and curriculum development.

Our Principles

We focus on the need to create long term change in organisational performance though changing the underlying behaviours. We work through and with your own teams since for the most part they will be the people who lead and manage change going forward. As far as possible we engage cross functional teams in developing the change agenda, designing the organisation for the future and implementing programmes.

  • 360 Degree Feedback: A common start point for many projects is a detailed assessment from both internal staff and the customer's point of view.
  • Benchmarking:  Through our sister company Advantage Group we have access to a variety of benchmarking processes and tools. Benchmarking is a powerful tool for identifying the need for change, developing the change agenda, engaging the organisation and measuring outcomes.
  • Process Design: A frequent requirement is to understand clearly how work is actually done today and to design how best it can be done going forward.
  • Role  Descriptions & Competency Framework Development:  We clarify who needs to do which aspects of the work and therefore what skills and capabilities are required.
  • Training Curriculum:  Training, Coaching and Self guided learning programmes.
  • Facilitation: We support developing of improved capability across the commercial go to market functions of marketing, category management and sales.
